I've had my eye on this handroll spot for a while, and it definitely lived up to expectations. The ambiance is spot on, ideal for either a laid-back lunch or a cozy date night. Service was attentive and friendly, with the staff eager to guide you through their menu. You have the option to choose five rolls individually or go with their signature set if decision-making isn't your thing--like me. While the biodegradable wrappers took a bit of finesse to unwrap, the effort was well rewarded with exceptional flavors. I particularly recommend trying the set, especially the shrimp roll--it's a standout. You can't go wrong with anything. Their cocktails are equally interesting. We tried the matcha cocktail, and it was one of the most uniquely enjoyable drinks I've recently tried.

The food here is absolutely divine. They also have lots of good vegetarian options - in fact it was recommended by a friend who is vegetarian. I got the "create your own" set which comes with 5 temaki from a wide selection of options and even got extra 3 because it was just so delicious

One of the best vegetarian sushi experiences I have ever had! The service and ambiance were both average, but the vegan sushi options were amazing. I came here with a friend that got the chive dip to start. I should've gotten the furikake fries because this had an odd taste. My friend really liked the ocean trout sashimi. The vegan set was really good & the taco style presentation was very fun. Each one had a unique flavor, and I would definitely come back for just that. The strawberry sandwich was not good. It wasn't sweet at all. Probably just come for the sushi options.

As a vegetarian who really misses sushi and is usually disappointed with my options at Japanese/sushi restaurants, I was very impressed with the plant-based options at Nami Nori. We had a group of 5 and our service was friendly and quick. I loved the Vegan Set, and I also added the Truffle Mushroom roll. Every hand roll had so much flavor and my expectations were very much exceeded. The rolls are quite small, so I certainly recommend adding an extra roll or two or an appetizer. My only suggestion would be to build up the cocktail menu-I had the Strawberry Sting which was decent, but not my favorite but due to limited options, this seemed like the best choice.

The space is stunning, clean, sleek. I literally enjoyed every single hand roll. We ordered on signature set which includes: tuna poke, crispy shallots x.o. scallop, tobiko, lemon coconut shrimp, green curry, lime, cilantro salmon serrano, ginger, myoga, tosazu cucumber black sesame, shiso, plum after that we just started ordering ala cart. It's probably my 3rd visit to this location and every time I leave, I cant wait to go back. Highly recommend. Service is pretty good. At times it can feel somewhat rushed but they also usually have to accommodate many reservations so it makes sense.

Had to work late so didn't want to dine out so this review is just for take out. Sushi in NYC is unexpectedly good. Been to Japan many times and lived on the west coast of the US so the bar is set pretty high. You can check out my other reviews of sushi spots including omakise in the city. This place does not miss. We ordered multiple options off the menu so I will give an overall review. First, all of the fish is completely fresh. Not sure where they source the fish from, but it tasted like they came off of the waters of Japan themselves. With each change of fish, you can taste the difference between types of fish, almost like you're visiting an aquarium and your tongue was the info guide to each species of fish! I could probably blindfold myself and be able to tell the type of fish you're eating by both taste and texture. The presentation was amazing even for takeout when places don't care as much about it since you're just eating it at home. If you're ever blessed with the chance to visit Japan, you know they do everything perfectly to the minute details. This tradition was not lost even half way across the world. The sake was ok. It's not really the draw of the place but it's offered and gets the job done. The wasabi might be the real stuff and not just the fake horseradish most places offers. Though pricier, it adds to the overall taste and experience. Overall, everything was top notch. I would have loved to dine-in to see if the service and ambience was also great as well. If so, then it's a 5 star for me! Highly recommend, it was giving me nostalgia of my time in Tokyo.

One of the few temaki places I've been where a vegetarian doesn't feel like a second-class citizen. The vegan set has some extremely creative options, with my favorites being the "avocado toast" and sweet potato tempura. The truffle maitake is not included in the vegan set, but was also one of the highlights of the meal. The meal was well-paced and the vibe is pleasant for a work lunch or casual weekday catch-up.

My friend and I came for dinner and were seated in the tent outside. We both ordered the side, which came with five handrolls: - tuna poke - scallop - crispy shrimp - salmon - cucumber sesame roll, which they called a palate cleanser All the hand rolls were yummy but overall I didn't feel super full afterwards. Cute spot inside. Overall good but not mind blowing

The food and cocktails tasted great and were well presented. I had the vegan set and enjoyed it, but felt like it should've came with more for how much I paid. The other photo is a set with fish. Oh, and we couldn't order off the a la carte unless you order a set. The service was good too. We were able to reserve the table in the back for our party and they were accommodating with giving us refills and checking in multiple occasions. The restaurant is small but it didn't feel tight either. It's a good place to try but underwhelmed mainly with how much food you get.
